These terms govern your use of farewellguide.co.za, an independent directory of funeral homes in South Africa run by Farewell Guide. By using the site, you agree to them.

Listings are informational

Listing details (services offered, contact details) are compiled from public sources and, where indicated, from the funeral home itself. We do our best to keep them accurate, but funeral homes change their services and contact details without notifying us. Always verify details directly with the funeral home before making any decision or payment. We are not a party to any arrangement or contract between you and a listed funeral home, and we're not responsible for the accuracy of third-party listing content, or for any dispute, loss or damage arising from an arrangement made through information found here.

Featured placements

Some listings pay for featured placement: a highlighted card and priority position on city and category pages. Featured placements are always clearly labelled. Paying for a featured placement does not influence whether a listing is accurate, and free and featured listings are held to the same standard of informational accuracy.

Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry sends your message to us and to the relevant funeral home, who will respond to you directly. We don't guarantee a response time or outcome: that's between you and the funeral home. See our Privacy Policy for how enquiry data is handled.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site to scrape listing data at scale, submit false enquiries, or misrepresent yourself when contacting a listed funeral home.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and available, but we don't warrant that listings are complete, current, or error-free, or that the site will be uninterrupted.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
